The original plan was to have a few friends round for cake and coffee and charge them for the pleasure. However we deviated from the plan somewhat and ended up with BBC Guernsey interviews, articles in the Guernsey Press, a venue and 1,000 cupcakes. It was a great day and we eventually sold all the cakes. I can't thank those who baked and donated ingredients enough, as without you we wouldn't have been able to raise a stagering £1,660.12 I think Ruth would have been very proud that we raised such an amazing amount of money. Thank you all so much, we look forward to seeing you again at next years cupcake break.
